My Design Process in a Nutshell
People often think design is just about making things pretty, but for me, it’s more about turning ideas into something that actually works. Here’s how I usually get from “blank page panic” to a finished design:
1. Do the homework. I start by understanding the problem—who it’s for, what it’s supposed to do, and what’s already out there.
2. Brainstorm like crazy. I sketch, doodle, or throw together mood boards. Most of it never sees the light of day, but it helps me find the gems.
3. Pick and polish. Once I’ve got a few good directions, I refine them into something clearer and more focused.
4. Build it out. This is where the real design comes together—colors, layouts, details, all the fun stuff.
5. Get feedback. Fresh eyes always catch what I miss, so I make tweaks before calling it done.
6. Deliver + reflect. I send it off, double-check the details, and later think about what I’d do differently next time.
Design isn’t about skipping to the final result—it’s about trusting the process. And honestly, the process is half the fun.

My experience
Setting up a website for the first time was easier than I thought. After understanding what hosting and domain was, I followed the step by step available on SiteGround and everything went smooth.
One of the hardest parts for me was choosing the domain. Every option I considered was taken. After many tries, I found one that resonated with me.
After finishing all the set up I will start working on the theme and design of the website. Hopefully that will be easier than choosing the domain because I already have some ideas of how I want the website to look.
